~~BACK!!! ~~
I haven't been blogging for a long, long time... seems like ages... I really apologise for this.
To all my dear friends out there, I'm back!!! I won't say I am back for good... but that I can only try to keep consistency in blogging....
I have been so caught up with ndp on saturdays, church on sundays, church camps, graduation ceremony, nie administration stuff, shopping for hostel stuff, going out with frens... such that the moment I come home, I just want time for myself... to do the stuff that I like.
Like listening to music, watch my anime series, catch up with my family, visit my extended relatives.... Not that I don't like blogging, but I find typing a mini-composition on the updates of my life a bit "dry" compared to what I can utilise my time to do other stuff...
Ok, right now I have tonnes of readings to do, for modules like "classroom management" and "educational psychology". This educational psychology module has an indiv essay assignment which is 2500 to 3000 words, and takes up 70% --> so basically decides whether you pass or fail. The remaining 30% goes to project work....
Ok, how should I describe my hostel life??? Doing crazy stuff that I never could imagine myself doing before... with my two other nus/nie crazy frens. So basically 3 gals doing crazy stuff... I won't go into detail what crazy stuff we did... =P
And basically I have been "hostel-hopping": going to my fren's hostel to stay for the night... then we will lie on the beds and chat till like 3, 4am dawn, waking up early in the morning at 7.15 am with panda black eyes.... =/
For your information, all of us are living in double-rooms, so when one is absent, I can "pop over" to slp there for the night. It's like a kind of girl-to-girl bonding, talking girls' stuff and catching up period in the midst of falling asleep...zzZZzzz
Also, I have been snacking A LOT. Every night I will open a packet of biscuits and start munching... My Favourite Biscuits: FAMOUS AMOS CHOCOLATE COOKies!!! Once I start opening that package, I can't stop eating!!! Today I had to restrain myself cos I am going to have a Maths Presentation tomorrow. Need to retain my voice... hehe... =)
And our nearest Hang-OUT location??? JP = Jurong Point in the far west extreme end of the Singapore island, just as where NIE is located: Far west of the island... It takes like about an hour 15 mins to go to Orchard, and takes 1 hour 15 mins as well to go back my Home Sweet Home... Do I sound like I am lamenting? Well, it seems I am... hehehe....
Oh well.... after coming to this campus located at the extreme end of the island, I realised how much I missed NUS. NUS is so happening!!! For one thing, the dress sense in Arts and Social Science Faculty is like going to Mini-Orchard Road, fashionable and trendy... and they will have bazarre there once a while to attract students who can't find the time to go down to town to shop.... The walls are colourful... fucia-pink, bright yellow, etc... It really lightens up one's mood when one is there to study...
I missed NUS Science Faculty too... Laboratories, Lecture theatres (especially LT32 whereby you need to climb up a hill to get there, I have difficulty finding that LT on my first day...Oh yah, and I think its LT26 if I am not wrong which seriously is in need of a change in tables and chairs cos they are so worn-out...), certain interesting and humorous tutors and lecturers, the Japanese food and the western food, and of course, the Science Library where I get all my Chemistry information...
I miss NUS... sometimes I wonder why Nie is not located in NUS... sigh.... Oh well, put the past behind me and look forward... looking forward to great and wonderful plans that the Lord have for me. =)
